Stacey, Quality Assurance Documentation Manager
(Previous positions: R&D Chemist, Team Leader, Supervisor, Assistant Laboratory Manager; QA Assistant Manager)
“I have worked for Alphapharm for over 10 years, and my job has certainly changed in core duties and core responsibilities. I have also changed departments from R&D to QA. Generally I thrive on interactions between people and all of my roles have involved different levels of communication skills in order to bring out the best in others. I have been developed through in-house training, Australian Institute of Management training, the Diploma of Business Management and through my leadership mentors. One of the great things about working at Alphapharm is the wide range of opportunities for professional development. Each step in my career with Alphapharm has been in recognition of my ability and skills rather than just experience. I would say to those who want to build a career with Alphapharm; be ready for opportunities - don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone.” |

Tim, Cadet Process Engineer
(Previous positions: Production Assistant, Production Team Leader)
“My first position at Alphapharm was a Production Assistant in the Dispensary. I applied from an advertisement in the local paper. After eight months I was promoted to Team Leader. I have been able to learn many sections and have spent time in other areas such as the Warehouse and R&D. I have been helped a lot during the five years that I have been working at Alphapharm. I have attended courses at the Australian Institute of Management, the Leadership Challenge and last year completed my Cert IV in Business (Frontline Management). You never stop learning. There are always opportunities to advance your skills at Alphapharm. They are very flexible. My advice is, never be afraid of making mistakes. Learn from them and work hard and good things will come.” |

Peter, Key Account Manager
(Previous positions: Business Advisor, Trainer - Sales Effectiveness, Sales Supervisor)
“There is no hiding the fact that it is the people that make Alphapharm. Alphapharm ‘up skills’ its sales team through the investment of time, people and capital. The training and development delivered at Alphapharm has been the envy of many friends in the same and similar industries. Hard work and dedication are recognised both financially and through our awards night. Alphapharm presents the perfect arena for career development. The management teams, like myself, have worked in the Business Advisor role. I thoroughly enjoy the day-to-day excitement that is delivered through a sales focused environment, supported by the framework that only a market leader can offer.” |
